Attend this session for an overview of the teacher education program. This includes admission requirements and certification opportunities at WSU. Faculty will be available to answer questions about the field of teaching.
Mathematics & Statistics, Physics & Astronomy, and the School of the Environment
This presentation will begin with an overview of the physical science options available to students at WSU and how you can prepare for majors in Mathematics, Physics, Environment and Ecosystems Sciences, Forestry, etc. This will be followed by a presentation of Topology-Rubbersheet Geometry from the Department of Mathematics & Statistics.
Agricultural & Food Systems and Integrated Plant Sciences
The business and science of feeding the world! Come learn about a degree in Agricultural & Food Systems or Integrated Plant Sciences. Students can choose from 11 majors that each provide hands-on experience and a solid foundation in agricultural sciences. Within the Agricultural & Food Systems programs, you can earn a degree in Agricultural Education, Agricultural Technology & Production Management, Organic Agriculture Systems, Agriculture & Food Security, and Agricultural & Food Business Economics. Within the Integrated Plant Sciences disciplines, you can earn a degree in Viticulture & Enology, Turfgrass Management, Field Crop Management, Agricultural Biotechnology, Fruit & Vegetable Management, and Landscape, Nursery, and Greenhouse Management. These interdisciplinary programs include a variety of knowledge from Crop and Soil Sciences, horticulture, entomology, plant pathology, and much more!
Engineering and Computer Science

School of Biological Sciences
An overview of options in the biological sciences including pre-health preparation, research opportunities, and academics, plus Q&A with a student scientist. For undergraduate students, the School of Biological Sciences is the home to majors in Biology and Zoology, and each of those majors includes various options. Those options provide opportunities for students interested in health sciences, including Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental, Pre-Veterinary, and Pre-Physical Therapy tracks.
The Murrow College of Communication
The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication is home to three academic majors: Communication and Society, Journalism & Media Production, and Strategic Communication. During the showcase, you’ll learn about the Murrow College majors, student organizations, and hands-on learning opportunities.

Described as our “2+2 Programs”, learn about how student in these majors spend their first 2 years at WSU Pullman, then finish their junior and senior years at our Health Sciences campus in Spokane, as well as other locations. These programs need people who are good in the sciences and have hearts of compassion.
