WSU’s Preview events are the perfect way to experience the unique atmosphere and energy of WSU while enjoying autumn on the Palouse. During your visit, you’ll have the chance to attend an academic and student services fair, meet world-class faculty and students, and check out campus all in one day.

Preview schedule at a glance

The 2026 Fall Preview schedule is subject to change. Please check back in October for updates. A detailed schedule will be provided at check-in for Preview.

8 – 9:15 a.m. | Check-in, Academic & Student Services Resource Fair at the CUB
Check in at the CUB to get your name tag and schedule for the day. Then, discover the academic and social resources available to Cougs in a fun open-house setting.

9:15 – 10 a.m. | Welcome address, Admission presentation at the CUB
Learn about the admission process, financial aid, and living and learning at WSU.

10 – 11 a.m. | Academic showcases (various locations)
Learn more about your academic interest, meet faculty, and hear from current Cougs in a workshop-style showcase that highlights the curriculum as well as internship, research, and study abroad opportunities.

11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Lunch (various locations)
Enjoy lunch in one of our three dining halls — on us!

12:30 – 4 p.m. | Open houses & tours (various locations)

*The Application Station is for first-year and transfer students planning to enter WSU in spring, summer, or fall 2027. Appointments are required. Select your preferred appointment time while registering for Preview or, update your registration to add one.

Sport Management Day

Friday, October 16 | 12:30 – 4 p.m.

Students planning to study sport management are invited to attend two sport management classes, get to know faculty and staff, and ask questions to a panel of current students. Select sport management when you register for Fall Preview on Saturday, October 17 to sign up for Sport Management day too.

Students interested in studying a major under Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture are invited to meet faculty and current students in the new Schweitzer Engineering Hall. Select a Voiland College major when you register for Future Cougar Day to sign up for the social.
