A special event for students admitted to WSU
About the event
Experience WSU is a fabulous hands-on, full-day experience for admitted students and their parents to learn more about Washington State University and its many opportunities.
Take a closer look at our academic programs and check out our unique residential campus life. You’ll go home knowing what makes the Cougar community so special.
Additionally, students who attend and fully participate in the program will receive a one-time $1,000 visitation award should they enroll at WSU for the term in which they applied.
Space is limited at all of the Experience WSU programs and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to capacity requirements and space limitations of our physical facilities, we cannot accommodate everyone who wishes to attend the event.
Experience WSU registration is available to students who have been admitted as a freshman or transfer student to WSU Pullman (former students, and change of WSU campus students are not eligible).
A walk-on student is someone who is not registered for the event but comes to Pullman hoping to join the event the day-of. Walk-on students are not permitted at any of our admitted student events, including Experience WSU. We will have to turn away any walk-on students at the door.
Please note that if the event registration is closed for date you wish to attend the program, you are more than welcome to register for the alternative list. Please understand that there are students who are on the alternative list for this event, and if we allowed walk-on registrants, then we would be doing a disservice to those who followed the alternative list procedure.
