Admissions Frequently Asked Questions

Whom should I contact with questions?

For all questions regarding group visits please contact Syndi Jacobson Group Visit Coordinator at 509-335-6215. Once you complete the registration form all details of the visit will be discussed.

Who should attend a group visit?

High school age students (grades 9-12) and transfer student groups are welcome to arrange a group visit. High School groups are required to provide a minimum of one chaperone for every 20 students.

K-8th grade should schedule a field trip through the WSU Brelsford Visitor Center.

When are group visits available?

Normal visiting hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Certain dates may not be available due to concurrent campus events or University holidays. Group visits are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

How soon can we come to campus?

At least three weeks prior to the date you wish to visit campus. This will ensure we have resources in place for your students.

How many students may I bring?

Due to space limitations we can accommodate up to 100 students.

What are our meal options?

If you choose to have meals on campus that is at your own expense; cost may vary. There are dining centers and a food court in the Compton Union Building (CUB).
Note: there will be limited hours of operation during breaks and summer.

What should we wear?

Dress is casual. Please wear comfortable shoes as you can expect to do a lot of walking. The weather in Pullman can change quickly; we recommend dressing in layers and bringing an umbrella, particularly in the spring and fall.

Whom do I contact for special assistance

If any member of your group requires disability accommodation, please contact the Group Visit Coordinator Syndi Jacobson at 509-335-6215 at least two weeks prior to your visit.

Tell us a bit about yourself so we can send you the right information. (Lighter fields are required.)
