Admissions Campus Tour Schedules

Choose the one that fits your schedule

Weekday mornings:

8:30 – 9:00 a.m. – Check-in at the Welcome Center on campus. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and prepare to head out to campus.

9:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Learn about our outstanding residential and academic facilities during the campus walking tour.

10:30 – 11:00 a.m. – Enjoy an informative presentation by the Office of Admissions.

11:00 a.m. onward – This is open time for exploration. Visit with representatives from your chosen field of study at the time you’ve previously set up, take a self-guided tour of the award-winning Student Recreation Center, get a scoop of ice cream at Ferdinand’s, eat lunch on campus, and shop for campus mementos at the Bookie.

Weekday afternoons:

Prior to 1:00 p.m. – Check-in at the Welcome Center on campus. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and prepare to head out on campus. This is also open time for exploration. You can chat with representatives from your field of study at the time you’ve previously set up, take a self-guided tour of the award-winning Student Recreation Center, get a scoop of ice cream at Ferdinand’s, eat lunch on campus, and shop for campus mementos at the Bookie.

1:00 – 2:30 p.m. – Learn about our outstanding residential and academic facilities during the campus walking tour.

2:30 – 3:00 p.m. – Enjoy an informative presentation by the Office of Admissions.

Saturday mornings (available September-April):

Please note: On Saturdays, campus viewing opportunities are limited to a guided walking tour only. No buildings or administrative offices are open. Although you can get a sense of the campus, we strongly encourage you to experience WSU during the week, when classes are in session and students are on campus.

10:00 – 11:30 a.m. – Learn about the outstanding residential and academic facilities during the campus walking tour.

11:30 a.m. onward – This is open time for exploration. Take a self-guided tour of the award-winning Student Recreation Center, see the grizzly bears (weather permitting), and shop for campus mementos at the Bookie. Please be aware that many academic buildings are closed on the weekend.

  • Walking Tours Prospective Students, sign up for a walking campus tour.
  • Group Tours Teachers, Counselors, and Professionals, plan a visit for your class or student group.

  • Freshman Use this application if you anticipate graduating from high school this academic year.
  • Transfer Use this application if you have attended college since graduating from high school.
  • Scholarships Make sure to apply for scholarships along with your admission application.
  • International Use this application if you are not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States of America.
  • Returning Student If you previously enrolled at any WSU campus, and have been away for more than one semester, use this application to reapply for admission.
  • Non-Degree Use this application if you don’t intend to complete a degree at WSU and will be taking courses for personal enrichment, transfer to another college, or a teaching endorsement.
  • Post-Degree Use the post-bachelor’s application if you’ve already earned a bachelor’s degree and want to add an additional degree or certificate.
