Benefits of attending Experience WSU

Students who attend an Experience WSU event will be eligible to register for a variety of New Coug Orientation sessions. All orientation modalities incorporate asynchronous online learning to be completed before and after your selected orientation session.

  • In-Person Orientation (June and July) – highly recommended for first-year students for the best experience.
  • Week of Welcome Orientation (August) – complete orientation in one day after you’ve moved to campus.
  • Online Orientation* (June, July, or August) – complete orientation online via a Zoom event.

* Registration for online sessions will become available in your FutureCoug Portal after attending the Experience event, including the Academic Showcase and one New Coug Orientation Resource Presentation

Students take photos by the Cherry Trees in front of French Administration Building.
