Admissions Involvement

Life at WSU

When you arrive at WSU, you’ll find a community that is creative, hard-working, and ready to support you throughout your college journey.

Whatever your passion, at WSU you’ll find like-minded people and plenty of opportunities to learn, about yourself and the world around you. Becoming a Coug means more chances to learn new skills and experience the unexpected.

Student organizations

To kick off your Coug experience, you can start by browsing the more than 300 clubs and organizations. Get serious (and have serious fun) with academic and cultural clubs, professional groups, and honors societies.

Service and engagement

Make sure you visit the Center for Civic Engagement to find out how you can give back to the Coug community. Not only can you give back, you can connect with other volunteering students. Also, service learning melds course credit with service opportunities and volunteer service can sometimes qualify for internship credit, too.

Entertainment and recreation

Want to know where to have fun as a Coug? The Student Entertainment Board and events calendar will clue you in to entertainment, art, and culture events on campus. Don’t miss Cougar Athletics events, where you can cheer from the best student section in the Pac-12 conference. And, if you want to get in on the action yourself, check out WSU’s award-winning student recreation center, intramural sports, activity classes, outdoor rec opportunities, and more through University Recreation.

Tell us a bit about yourself so we can send you the right information. (Lighter fields are required.)
