For International Students
International Academic Award
This undergraduate tuition reduction* is offered to residents of countries other than the United States. Eligible students must be enrolling for the first time in a degree program at WSU and not hold immigrant status in the U.S. and pay non-resident tuition.
Transfer
Level One: $1,000 per semester
Offered to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.30-3.59 (on a 4.0 scale).
Level Two - $2,000 per semester
Offered to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Awards are distributed during both fall and spring semesters. You may renew both levels of awards for five additional semesters, provided you maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher and earn at least 24 graded credits per year.
Freshman
Level One: $1,000 per semester
Offered to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.30-3.59 (on a 4.0 scale).
Level Two: $2,000 per semester
Offered to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Awards are distributed during both fall and spring semesters. You may renew both levels of awards for seven additional semesters, provided you maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and earn at least 24 graded credits per year.

Paying your way at WSU
- Pay tuition deposit - If your admission application has been accepted, making an advance tuition deposit will reserve your space at WSU.
- Pay tuition and other fees - You can use a credit card to make payments on your tuition, housing, dining, and other accounts. Avoid penalties by making sure you know your tuition due date.
