WHAT’S HAPPENING AND WHEN

Get ready to walk, talk, and generally be amazed.


Sample Schedule--Day 1

11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

  • Buses arrive.

1:00–2:00 p.m.

  • Lunch and Welcome address in the CUB Ballroom.

2:15–3:30 p.m.

  • Tour campus and visit residence halls. Find out more about the campus community with current students as your guides.

3:30-4:30 p.m.

  • Academic visits. Experience the unique academic environment at WSU. One of our student tour guides will escort you to an academic visit for a first-hand look at one of your areas of interest.

4:45-5:30 p.m.

  • Student Panel Discussions. Ask questions, get answers, and learn first-hand about the Cougar experience from current WSU students.

6:00–6:45 p.m.

  • Choose from a wide array of meal options at one of three dining centers.

7:00–8:00 p.m.

  • Check-in to hotels.

8:15–10:00 p.m.

  • Student Recreation Center. Work out to Zumba, play basketball or volleyball, swim in the pool, or just relax in the hot tub or by the big-screen TV.
  • Other sponsored activities.

10:30-11:00 p.m.

  • LIGHTS OUT.

Sample Schedule--Day 2

7:00–8:00 a.m.

  • Check-out and breakfast at hotels.

8:45–11:45 a.m.

  • Team building leadership activities.
  • Tours of Compton Union Building (CUB), Bookie (student bookstore), and Multicultural Student Services Centers.
  • Scholarship interviews for selected students.

12:00–1:30 p.m.

  • Closing luncheon and program.

1:30-2:00 p.m.

  • Group photos.

2:00–2:15 p.m.

  • Buses depart.
