Student visits
Seeing is deciding
Many students who come to Washington State University tell us that visiting the Pullman campus was what made up their minds. Urge your students to visit.
Give your students this handy campus visit checklist to help them make the most of their visit to WSU (or any other college, for that matter).
Visiting WSU
From campus tours by appointment to football game-day tours to organized visit events, there are plenty of opportunities for students and their families to explore campus and see what WSU has to offer.
Visits by appointment
Campus tours - Students and their families can arrange a campus visit on a day that fits their schedule.
Group visits - Bring a student group or an entire class to campus. We'll help you choose tour options and activities that will make the visit fun and memorable for everyone.
Organized visit programs for prospective students usually include campus tours, academic fairs, financial aid and admission info, etc. Some programs also include overnight stays in WSU dorms and meals in a student dining center.
Orientation
For admitted students who have decided to attend WSU, orientation is the next step. All new students need to attend an orientation session to register for classes. Orientation also includes opportunities to find out about WSU's resources and services, connect with other students, and get acclimated to campus before school starts.
Summer Programs
For students at various grade levels (from junior high through high school), these summer programs feature learning, fun, and the chance to spend time exploring campus.
