Applications for 2012 semesters are still open to all students.

Because admission application fees are nonrefundable, contact us before you apply if you're unsure about which semester or application form to use. If you need to mail an application, PDFs are available for download and printing. Online applications are preferred.

Admission applications

Choose the application you need from the options below.

Undergraduate

Use one of these applications if you intend to take undergraduate courses at WSU, either for personal enrichment or a bachelor's degree. For freshman, transfer, international, returning, and non-degree admission.

Freshman

Use this application if you anticipate graduating from high school this academic year or if you have graduated from high school and have not been enrolled in college after the summer following your high school graduation. Running start students who have completed college coursework while in high school are considered freshmen for admission purposes.

Transfer

Use this application if you have attended college since graduating from high school (not including the summer immediately following high school graduation; if all your college work was done in high school, use the freshman application).

International

Use this application if you are not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States of America. Undergraduate only. See below for graduate and professional school applications.

Former WSU student

If you previously enrolled at any WSU campus, and have been away for more than one semester, use this application to reapply for admission. If you were not in good academic standing your last semester at WSU, you may need to be reinstated.

Non-degree

Use this application if you don't intend to complete a degree at WSU and will be taking courses for personal enrichment, transfer to another college, or a teaching endorsement.

Honors College admission

To be considered for honors admission, complete the freshman admission application. Invitations to join the Honors College will be sent separately to qualified students after they're offered admission to WSU.

Graduate and professional admission

If you're aiming for a graduate degree (master's, Ph.D.), apply for admission through the WSU Graduate School. For admission to the advanced professional degree programs in pharmacy, nursing, or veterinary medicine, apply to the program you want to join.

Graduate school

For master's or Ph.D. programs, apply to the WSU Graduate School.

Veterinary medicine

For the DVM program, apply to the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine.

Pharmacy

For the Pharm.D. program, apply to the WSU College of Pharmacy.
(Students who haven't earned a bachelor's degree should fill out an undergraduate application and take the pre-pharmacy curriculum.)

Nursing

For advanced nursing degrees, apply to the WSU College of Nursing.
(Pre-nursing students should fill out an undergraduate application.)

Online and post-bachelor's

Use one of these applications if you'll be taking online courses or if you already have a bachelor's degree and will be earning an additional undergrad degree or certification.

WSU Online

Use this application if you want to take online courses from WSU or earn a WSU degree online.

Use the post-bachelor's application if you've already earned a bachelor's degree and want to add an additional degree or certificate.

Scholarship applications

The 2012-13 WSU scholarship application is now closed.

WSU has one general scholarship application for all students. It allows you to be considered for a wide range of scholarships based on varying combinations of academic merit and financial need.

To be eligible for scholarships from WSU, new students also need to apply for admission. Continuing students should file a scholarship application each year.

Personal statement
Freshman applicants should complete the personal statement for full consideration.

Change-of-campus form
Download this PDF if you need to request admission or enrollment at a different WSU campus than the one you originally applied to.
