Who can attend this event?
Out-of-state undergraduate students who have been accepted for the Fall 2017 semester may attend this Experience event. Out-of-state students can attend any Experience WSU session, however, this session is exclusively for students from outside Washington state. Students who are former WSU students returning or students who are currently enrolled at a WSU campus (Pullman, Vancouver, Tri-Cities, Global, Everett, or Spokane) who may submit a change of campus form are NOT eligible to attend this event. This event is designed for those who are still making up their minds about enrolling at the Pullman campus. If you have already decided to attend WSU, your next steps are to pay your deposit and sign up for an Alive! orientation and registration session.
Who may accompany me to Out-of-state Experience WSU?
Up to four people may attend Out-of-state Experience WSU. Three guest spots are included in the online registration.
Is there any charge for attending?
Attendance at Out-of-state Experience WSU is free for each registered student and their guests.
What should I wear?
Dress is casual. Please wear comfortable shoes for your visit to our campus, as you can expect to do a lot of walking. Spring weather in the Pullman area can be chilly; rain or snow is a possibility. Consider dressing in layers and packing an umbrella for your trip.
Should I attend if I’m a transfer student?
Transfer students are welcome to attend any of the Experience WSU events if they are undecided about attending WSU. However, if you have already confirmed your enrollment at WSU, we recommend that you attend Transfer Alive in March for orientation and registration.
Whom do I contact for special assistance?
If you are a person with disabilities requiring assistance, please contact Visitation Programs at 509-335-4980 at least 14 days prior to the event you will be attending to make arrangements.
What if I can’t attend?
If you cannot attend the Out-of-state Experience event, we encourage you to come to one of our general Experience WSU days or schedule an individual visit on a day that fits your schedule.
What if I am under 18 years old?
Students under 18 who are traveling without a parent or guardian must submit the required waiver forms prior to arriving on campus. Please download your forms here.
Should I make travel arrangements prior to being a confirmed registrant for the program?
It is very strongly discouraged to make any type of travel arrangements (especially purchasing flights) prior to receiving an official confirmation email after registering for the program. Visitation Programs will not make any special accommodations for families who are not registered but may have already purchased flights. If you are unsure your registration was submitted or have not received a confirmation email, please contact Visitation Programs.

Tell us a bit about yourself so we can send you the right information. (Lighter fields are required.)
