INFORM YOUR STUDENTS ABOUT IMPORTANT PRIORITY DATES AND DEADLINES

To help your students prepare for their WSU adventure, there are several tasks they need to complete by January 31—please help us spread the word!

Inform your students about the January 31 priority admission application date for WSU summer/fall 2019 admission. Applications received after this date will be considered for admission on a space available basis. Encourage your students to apply today by submitting their completed application for admission and requesting their high school transcripts and SAT/ACT test scores.

SCHOLARSHIPS CAN COME FROM ANYWHERE!

Don’t let your students end their scholarship search with the WSU scholarship application—scholarships can come from anywhere! We recommend students fill out additional scholarship applications each year to increase their chances of receiving a scholarship. Visit our scholarship search engine located at scholarships.wsu.edu to explore hundreds of additional scholarship opportunities. We also suggest that your students contact local non-profit organizations or community groups to check on available scholarships.

A QUICK GUIDE FOR SENDING TRANSCRIPTS TO WSU

The WSU Office of Admissions accepts official transcripts in four ways:

Mailed in a sealed envelope sent directly from the school to:

Encourage your students admitted to WSU to sign up for Transfer Alive!

Transfer Alive! is a two-day orientation and registration program designed to prepare admitted students for their transition to Washington State University. Whether they are transferring from a four year university or a community college, Transfer Alive! will provide them with valuable information that will help you become acquainted with our campus, community and the many resources available to them.

STUDENTS WITH A 3.5+ GPA ARE ASSURED ADMISSION

Based on the success of our Assured Admission program, talented students from across the country will continue to be assured admission to Washington State University for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The Assured Admission program reduces the anxiety associated with the college application process and makes it easier for students to make a decision about which college to attend. The program is part of WSU’s effort to provide an even larger number of academically talented students access to the University’s world-class educational experience.
