Congratulations on your admission to WSU! We are excited to welcome you to the Cougar family. There are a few steps you need to take before joining us in Pullman. Get started by paying your $200 non-refundable advanced payment on tuition.
Steps to confirm your admission:
How to pay your $200 non-refundable tuition deposit:
From the main menu select “self service” then click “student center.”
In the middle of the “student center” you’ll see a link that says “accept/decline admission”, click “accept”.
Accept your offer of admission, and then proceed to pay the $200 advance tuition/confirmation deposit to hold your spot in the incoming class.
**Do not click the “make a payment” button.**
How to log in to myWSU for the first time (future students):
Make sure you turn off all pop-up blockers from your internet browser.
Go to the Account Creation webpage and enter the Temporary Access Network Key (TANK) that was emailed to you (if you don’t know your TANK, please contact the Office of Admissions at 888-468-6978 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
Select one of the two options for your PIN delivery.
Create a password for your Network ID along with a “Question and Answer” combination for additional security. After submitting, a confirmation email will follow shortly.
Keep a record of your new Network ID, but you should not share this or your password with anyone else. Print the confirmation page or store a copy in a safe location until you’ve memorized your new Network ID and password.
If you have any questions during the Network ID account creation process, please contact the WSU Help Desk, Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm (PST), at 509-335-4357 or email@example.com.
You’re officially a Coug!
Congrats on confirming your admission and paying your deposit. You are now able to complete the following steps:
Sign up for Alive! orientation or Transfer Alive! as soon as possible after confirming your admission. All new students must attend an orientation session to meet with an academic advisor and register for classes. The Alive! orientation fee is $230 for students and $195 for parent/guests staying overnight on campus and $140 for parents/guests staying off-campus.
Apply for on-campus housing. The sooner you apply for housing, the better your chances of getting one of your top residence hall choices. The housing application requires a $400 advanced payment plus a $150 security deposit. Students under 20 years of age with less than one year of post high school college credit are required to live in the residence halls as part of the Freshman Live-in Rule. Transfer students not bound by the Freshman Live-in Rule also have the option to live off campus.
Provide proof of immunization. You’ll need to provide proof of measles (Rubeola) immunity before registering for classes. Forms and other information are available from WSU Health and Wellness Services.
Sign in to myWSU (WSU’s student information system) and review your personal to-do lists for financial aid, orientation, and more.
