All Washington State University students are required to attend an orientation session before enrolling in classes. At Alive! Orientation students will receive academic advising, register for fall classes, and get better acquainted with campus services and facilities.

Encourage your students admitted to WSU to sign up for Transfer Alive! March 24-25, 2019 to sign up for classes before current students. Transfer Alive! is a two-day orientation and registration program designed to prepare admitted students for their transition to Washington State University. Whether they are transferring from a four-year university or a community college, Transfer Alive! will provide them with valuable information that will help them become acquainted with our campus, community and the many resources available to them.

Students who register early are more likely to get into the session they prefer. The student cost of $240 includes housing, meals, and all materials during the program. There are additional per-person costs ranging from $140-$195 for each parent/guardian who would like to attend the Alive! Orientation as well. If a student has high financial need, they may defer the student fee so that it comes out of their financial aid in the fall. Guest and parent costs may not be deferred. Instructions for how to defer the matriculation fee are outlined on the online Alive! registration form.
