Washington State University has once again ranked in the top 25 institutions for LGBTQ+ students! This honor has been bestowed upon WSU for a fourth year in a row. WSU has earned this ranking through continuous work on improving the campus policies to be more inclusive of LGBTQ+ individuals.

This is accomplished through the work of the Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center (GIESORC). They provide ally trainings to teach students, staff, and faculty about needs and issues that the LGBTQ+ community faces on campus and in society. They have an amazing space on the fourth floor of the Compton Union Building for students to create community with each other. The GIESORC staff works with students to alleviate any issues that they may encounter and to connect them with other resources on campus that will help them reach graduation.
