Some of the most important individuals in the college admission process are the regional admission counselors at Washington State University (WSU). By living in your communities admission counselors are more accessible, and are more aware of local issues that may affect your school’s populations. WSU admission counselors are available to attend college fairs, scholarship nights, facilitate personal statement/essay workshops, admissions presentations, and can provide personal visits to high schools and community colleges. Our counselors love interacting with you, your students and their families. They enjoy partnering with you to increase your school’s college-going rate, and they enjoy walking with students and their parents through the sometimes-confusing admission application process. All of our counselors work with both incoming freshmen, as well as Running Start/College in the High School and transfer students.

Please encourage your students to contact their admission counselor if they have any questions or concerns. If you haven’t had the opportunity to connect with your high school’s admission counselor, we encourage you to find yours and reach out!
