Apply Financial Aid Award to Pay All Charges

When financial aid is disbursed to the student account, it is automatically set to pay all mandatory charges such as tuition, fees, and on-campus housing. If a student would like to have financial aid pay for other charges, such as the sports pass, they must “opt-in” by following the steps outlined below:

  1. Log in to myWSU
  2. Select “Main Menu”
  3. Select “Self Service”
  4. Select “Campus Finances”
  5. Select “View Student Permissions”
  6. Select “Grant Permissions”
  7. Read Student Permission Agreement and select “Accept”

Set up Direct Deposit

Setting up direct deposit is the fastest, easiest, and safest way to receive a financial aid refund (if your student has aid exceeding all due charges for the semester). Follow the easy steps outlined below:

  1. Log in to myWSU
  2. Select “Main Menu”
  3. Select “Self Service”
  4. Select “Campus Finances”
  5. Select “Enroll in Direct Deposit”
  6. Under Bank Details – enter bank name, routing number and checking account number
  7. Read Enrollment Agreement and select “Accept”

Third Party Access

Remember that beginning the first day of class, August 21, 2017, any party calling on behalf of a student must have been granted Third Party Access (TPA) in order for our office to share any detailed information regarding your student’s account. Your student can grant you TPA by following the steps outlined below:

  1. Log in to myWSU
  2. Select “Main Menu”
  3. Select “Self Service”
  4. Select “Third Party Access”
  5. Select “Third Party Access” again
  6. Select “Share My Information”
