Anyone – Anytime – Anywhere!  Study Abroad experiences are very popular with WSU students, in fact, last year over 800 students participated, and the number is growing! Students can choose from more than 500 different programs including exchanges, faculty-led programs, internships, and provider programs. Freshmen are welcome to study abroad!  If a student wants to experience college life on campus first, however, they are encouraged to explore global learning opportunities during their freshman year to begin planning to study abroad in the future.  International Programs offers daily information sessions called Global Cougs 101, taught by Cougs who have studied abroad.  During these sessions students will learn that some study abroad programs cost about the same as staying on campus in Pullman, and that most forms of financial aid can be used to pay for studying abroad.  Study Abroad scholarships are also available and ALL students are encouraged to apply.  For more information, contact WSU’s Global Learning Department.  Go Global Cougs!
