May 1, College Decision Day, is right around the corner! We encourage all students who plan to attend WSU to pay their non-refundable $200 advanced tuition deposit by May 1, since space is limited. Students can only sign up for Alive! orientation and apply for housing after accepting their offer of admission. Therefore, students who pay their deposit earlier have a better chance of getting their first choice of residence hall, and the Alive! orientation session that fits best into their schedule. If your family is unable to pay the $200 deposit at this time, please contact your personal Admission Counselor who can help defer the payment.
We understand that some students are still trying to decide which college to attend. It is in the student’s best interest to accept his or her offer of admission by May 1, as WSU will only continue to accept tuition deposits after the date if space remains available. If your student is deciding between two or more universities, encourage them to:
- Visit Campus! A campus visit is one of the best ways students can find out if the college is right for them. WSU Pullman offers campus tours at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on weekdays and at 10 a.m. on Saturdays. To sign up for a daily tour, check out visit.wsu.edu!
- Look closely at financial aid information from universities. If you have questions about your student’s financial aid award from WSU, please contact your WSU Admission Counselor.
- Ask final questions of Admissions staff and students. Encourage your student to connect with us through email, phone, or online chat.
