Study Abroad (also called Education Abroad) is very popular at Washington State University. Last year over 800 WSU students participated, and the number is growing! Study Abroad programs give WSU students the opportunity to take classes towards their WSU degrees while learning about another culture! Students can choose from more than 600 different programs including exchanges, faculty-led programs, internships, and provider programs. International Programs offers daily information sessions called Global Cougs 101, detailing Study Abroad programs in over 80 countries so students can decide whether studying abroad is right for them. Some programs cost about the same as staying on campus in Pullman.  Financial aid and scholarships may be used to cover the cost of studying abroad. You and your student can ask questions of WSU Global Learning Ambassadors–WSU students who have participated in a wide-variety of study abroad adventures in over 30 different countries. For more information, contact WSU’s Global Learning Department.
