The Associated Students of WSU will welcome 200 students to Pullman January 13-15 for the Children of Aztlan Sharing Higher Education (CASHE) Conference. This is an incredible opportunity for high school students of Chicana(o)/Latina(o) descent throughout the state of Washington to gain leadership skills, build meaningful relationships with other students from across the state and get prepared for college. While in Pullman, students will stay at a local hotel, eat at a WSU dining center, attend leadership workshops, listen to motivational speakers, and much more!
To learn more and register students for the event, visit cashe.wsu.edu. CASHE can hold up to 200 students, and each year more students apply to attend than are able to register. Registration closes Monday, November 14, 2016, so students should apply soon! A limited number of registration fee waivers are available for students in need. If you are working with a student who will benefit from a registration fee waiver, please send a letter of recommendation outlining their need and potential to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have interested students, or if you are interested in attending CASHE as a chaperone, mark your calendars for January 13-15, 2017.
