Based on the success of our Assured Admission program, talented students from across the country will continue to be assured admission to Washington State University in 2017!
The Assured Admission program reduces the anxiety associated with the college application process and makes it easier for students to make a decision about which college to attend. The program is part of WSU’s effort to provide an even larger number of academically talented students access to the University’s world-class educational experience.
Students who are ranked among the top 10 percent of their class or who have earned at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) at the time of application are assured admission to the University.
- The offer of assured admission is available to all applicants from high schools in the U.S.
- Complete applications to attend WSU must be submitted by published deadlines. January 31 is the application deadline for 2017 fall semester.
- To maintain assured admission, students must complete College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADRs) and admission requirements as outlined by the Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board, and keep their high school grades and standing at the same level during their senior year and graduate prior to enrollment.
- WSU will continue to provide a comprehensive application review for all applicants who do not have a 3.5 GPA and who are not in the top 10 percent, and all international applicants.
