Washington State University is pleased to introduce Lindsay Fitzpatrick as the new Northern California admission counselor. Lindsay holds a master’s degree in counseling with a school specialization and a certificate in college admissions counseling. She began her career in education as a school counselor in a Northern California high school, and then later in Florida. Lindsay’s experience includes building relationships with students and families, removing barriers to learning, and advocating for students.
After returning to California, Lindsay worked in admissions at Stanford University’s Office of Collegiate Studies where she reviewed applications and advocated for potential students as a member of the review committee. Over the past three years, she has helped guide students through the college planning and admissions process as an Independent Educational Consultant.
As an admission counselor for WSU, Lindsay combines her counseling and relationship building skills, knowledge of adolescent development and her passion for education. The college application process can be stressful and she enjoys making the process and transition to WSU as smooth as possible!
