The 2017 WSU application for admission is now available at In order for a student’s application to be complete, they will need 1) submit an on-line application, 2) submit official high school or college transcripts to WSU, and 3) if they are an incoming freshmen or transfer students with less than 45 transferable quarter credits (credits earned after high school graduation), they will need to submit official ACT or SAT scores. Once our office receives all required portions of their application, we will review the student’s file. As before, WSU does not require an admission essay, but will request information from students on an as-needed basis. The application fee remains $50 and as always, low-income students may request a fee waiver. The fee waiver request is located at the end of our online admission application form.

Transcripts and test scores can be sent to the following address:

Office of Admissions and Recruitment
Lighty Student Services 370
Washington State University
PO Box 641067
Pullman, WA 99164-1067

Two important notes:

January 31, 2017 is the admissions application deadline, instead of priority deadline as it has been in previous years. WSU will, however, continue to accept transfer applications after that date.

November 30, 2016 the new priority review date. We encourage all students to submit their application along with official transcripts and official scores to us by that date.

***Incoming students may only apply for one WSU campus. For more information go to
