The WSU application for admission for Fall 2017 is now available at https://admission.wsu.edu.
In order for a student’s application to be complete, they will need to 1) submit an on-line application, 2) submit official high school transcripts to WSU, and 3) if they are an incoming freshman or transfer student with less than 45 transferable quarter credits (credits earned after high school graduation), they will need to submit official ACT or SAT scores. Once our office receives all required portions of their application, we will review the student’s file. As before, WSU does not require an admission essay, but will request information from students on an as-needed basis. The application fee remains $50 and as always, low-income students may request a fee waiver. The fee waiver request is located at the end of our online admission application form.
Transcripts and test scores can be sent to the following address:
Office of Admissions and Recruitment
Lighty Student Services 370
Washington State University
PO Box 641067
Pullman, WA 99164-1067
New for this year: Simply go to our site exclusively for high school officials at https://admissions.em.wsu.edu/forms/transcriptuploads/. There we will as you to provide: your name, title, email address, and school name. Once you do that, you can simply upload an entire file of transcripts or attach individual transcripts. If you prefer, we also will still accept faxes sent to (509) 335-4902 OR by mail to our address listed above.
Washington State University does not accept transcripts through email, although we will accept electronic versions of transcripts though secure services like Naviance/Parchment and Docufide. If you have questions, please contact your WSU Admission Counselor.
Two important notes:
January 31, 2017 is the admissions application deadline, instead of priority deadline as it has been in previous years. WSU will, however, continue to accept transfer applications after that date.
November 30, 2016 the new priority review date. We encourage all students to submit their application along with official transcripts and official scores to us by that date.
***Incoming students may only apply for one WSU campus. For more information go to admission.wsu.edu
