If your student has not yet registered for an orientation session, please encourage them to do so immediately. The last orientation session is Fall Alive, August 15-17. Orientation is mandatory for all incoming students and your student will not be able to register for fall classes until they attend orientation. Parent attendance is optional. Make sure your student has taken their Math Placement Exam online at least one week before attending Fall Alive!.

At Fall Alive!, students will stay in their assigned freshman residence hall, register for classes, and receive all of the resources they need to begin their first year at WSU. On-campus housing will not be available for parents or guests during this session. If you have any questions regarding the Alive! Orientation program, please direct them to orientation@wsu.edu. Remember, the Alive! matriculation fee can be deferred to your student’s financial aid by printing, then mailing/faxing/emailing in the downloadable Alive! registration form, or by contacting New Student Programs at orientation@wsu.edu or 509-335-4242.
