Registration is now open for WSU’s spring visit events! To find out more about our spring events, please go to visit.wsu.edu. Space is limited and registration for all events is on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan a date to visit WSU today! Even if your student has already attended a campus visit program, such as Fall Preview or Preview for Juniors, we encourage them to come back. Many of our admitted student events offer different programming and incentives than our Preview events.

Experience WSU is a day-long scholarship and visitation program designed for students who have been offered admission to WSU. Students who apply by the January 31 priority date and attend the program will receive a $1,000 renewable scholarship. Students will attend a resource fair, eat in a dining center, enjoy a presentation from an academic department of their choice, and receive information on scholarships, financial aid, housing options (including residence halls, fraternities and sororities), and the Honors College. All incoming students and their parents are invited to Experience WSU on March 5, April 2 or April 16. March 25-26 is a special event only for out-of-state admitted students, called Out-of-State Experience.

Future Cougars of Color (FCOC) is an overnight scholarship and visitation event which is a great opportunity for underrepresented students to see firsthand all that WSU has to offer. Students will receive a $1,000 renewable scholarship just for attending the program! At FCOC, your son or daughter will be involved in hands-on academic workshops, learn about multicultural involvement opportunities, form relationships with other incoming students, and much more! Transportation, overnight accommodations, and meals are provided. In order to keep this event free, parents and guests may not attend FCOC. FCOC is March 11-12.

Due to space limitations, students are only allowed to attend one admitted student program. If your student is deciding between FCOC and Experience, please look at the event schedules online to decide which event is right for them. If you would like to visit WSU with your son or daughter, or if he or she would like a more in-depth look at WSU’s residence halls and Greek housing, Experience WSU is likely the event for you!
