WSU has several opportunities for students to visit campus this spring. Whether your students are beginning their college search, looking to earn scholarships, gain leadership skills, or want to enroll at WSU, we have an event for them. Which event is right for your students?

Experience WSU is a day-long scholarship and visitation program designed for students who have been offered admission to WSU and applied by the priority date of January 31. Students will attend a resource fair, eat in a WSU dining center, watch a presentation from an academic department of their choice, and receive information on scholarships, financial aid, housing options, and the Honors College. All students who successfully complete the program will receive a $1,000 per year visitation scholarship, renewable for three additional years (one additional year for transfer students) as long as they remain academically eligible. Note, this cannot be combined with the FCOC visitation scholarship as they are one in the same. This event is geared toward students who have been offered admission to WSU but have not yet decided which university to attend. The Out-of-State Experience WSU, March 25-26, is a special event for out-of-state students only. Both in-state and out-of-state students are invited to Experience WSU on March 5, April 2, and April 16. Visit Experience WSU or Out-of-State Experience WSU for more information. Registration will open in late January.

Future Cougars of Color (FCOC) is an overnight scholarship and visitation event for in-state students from diverse and/or multicultural backgrounds. Students must have applied by January 31 and be offered admission to the WSU Pullman campus in order to attend.  All students who successfully complete the program will receive a $1,000 per year visitation scholarship, renewable for three additional years (one additional year for transfer students) as long as they remain academically eligible. Note: this cannot be combined with the Experience visitation scholarship as they are one in the same. Encourage students who are deciding between FCOC and Experience WSU to look at the event schedules online to decide which event is right for them. In addition to the scholarship, students will be involved in hands-on academic workshops, learn about multicultural involvement opportunities, begin to form relationships with other incoming students, and much more! Transportation, overnight accommodations, and meals are all provided. In order to keep this event free for students, parents and guests may not attend FCOC. Any student wishing to visit WSU with his or her family is encouraged to attend Experience instead. FCOC is March 11-12, 2016.  For more information, visit fcoc.wsu.edu. Registration will open in late January.

Daily Campus Tours are offered throughout the school year and during the summer. Walking tours are led by current WSU students and offered Monday-Friday at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and most Saturdays at 10 a.m. Please consult the Visitation Calendar to schedule your tour. To personalize their visit, students can also use the time before/after tours to schedule additional appointments with academic departments, Student Financial Services (financial aid & scholarships), Housing, and more. Students can register here.
