Students who have been admitted to WSU Pullman and who have submitted their $200 enrollment deposit for fall 2015, can already apply for housing and dining services. The online application is easily accessible on the Housing website.
WSU has 17 residence halls to choose from, including the brand new Global Scholars Hall, which opened fall 2015. In spite of the name, Global Scholars is open to students from all backgrounds and interest areas and is not limited to international students or those in the Honors College. Global Scholars Hall has rooms that include a combination of singles and doubles with and without baths, two and four bed semi-suites, as well as a number of apartment type suites for groups of 4-6 students. For more information about all of the housing options, virtual tours, and videos showcasing the residence halls, visit housing.wsu.edu.
Housing assignments are based on the date students complete their housing application. In other words, the earlier students complete their housing application, the better chance they have for placement in the residence hall or apartment they prefer. Some of the more popular halls already have more requests than beds available. Encourage your student to apply for housing soon!
Admitted students who have paid their $200 advance tuition deposit, can visit housing.wsu.edu to submit their housing/dining preferences. When completing the Housing application, students will be expected to pay a $150 housing deposit and a $400 advance housing payment which will be credited toward their overall housing and dining costs in the fall. Students who expect to receive at least $13,000 in financial aid can request that the $400 payment be deferred until they receive their aid in the fall.
Students will begin to receive housing assignments in June.
