Registration is now open for three student-led conferences; SHAPING (October 23-25: registration deadline October 9), CASHE (November 13-15: registration deadline October 23), and VIBES (December 4-6: registration deadline November 6). These conferences are coordinated by current WSU students and are designed to teach leadership/civic participation to 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Participants stay at local hotels, eat in WSU dining centers, participate in team building exercises, enjoy motivational speakers, attend workshops/presentations, and mingle with college students.

All three conferences are open to all Washington high school students, but priority is given to juniors and seniors. The focus of SHAPING is on students from Asian-American and Pacific Islander backgrounds, CASHE focuses on students from Chicana(o)/Latina(o) backgrounds, and VIBES focuses on students from Black/African-American backgrounds. Transportation to and from Pullman is provided for the majority of participants.

Registration is $50 per person. Students may apply for fee waivers. Space is limited and spots fill up quickly, so interested students should register immediately.
