Two students from all eligible Washington state high schools can receive $16,000 or more, over four years through the Washington State University Regents Scholars Program. WSU asks educators, counselors, or administrators to nominate two of their most distinguished seniors. Every eligible Regents Scholar nominee will receive a $4,000 per year scholarship to WSU for four years. Additionally, these excellent students will then compete for the Distinguished Regents Scholars Award, which covers full tuition and fees for four years!

WSU Student Financial Services will send an email announcement to key school administrators in mid-September to detail the nomination process. Nominations are due by Wednesday, October 28, 2015 and all students’ materials must be received by Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Students and educators can determine eligibility by inputting the student’s GPA and SAT/ACT scores in the Regents Scholars Program Calculator

Encourage your students to register now for an early session of the SAT or ACT test to ensure their scores are available to submit to WSU before the Regent’s Scholars Program December 2 deadline.
