WSU’s Cougar Money Management Program (CMMP) has been created to assist students in making informed financial decisions before, during, and after college. The mission of the CMMP is to provide students with hands on experience and information that will increase their financial knowledge and skills. The program offers free services, online tools, resources, and information to assist students in making informed financial decisions and plan for a successful future upon graduation.

The CMMP mission is accomplished through:

  • Free membership and access to SALT, an impartial multichannel educational financial literacy program that includes online tools and resources
  • Education, training, and workshop presentations on personal finance
  • Development of collaborative campus partnerships
  • Program assessment and evaluation

SALT can provide your son or daughter with hands-on experience, information, and tools to increase his or her financial knowledge and skills, including:

  • Interactive tools to get money savvy
  • Money-saving deals and discounts
  • Ability to manage student loans in one place
  • Advice from expert student loan counselors
  • Search tools for scholarships, internships and jobs
