Team Transfer is a programming board and council whose primary goal is to help transfer students transition to WSU and get connected throughout the community. Students are invited to attend a Transfer Social kickoff during the Week of Welcome followed by social events and workshops throughout the semester.

Once transfer students arrive on campus, Team Transfer strives  to recognize their academic and co-curricular achievements through Tau Sigma, the transfer student national honor society. In addition to recognizing the academic excellence of transfer students, Tau Sigma also provides opportunities to get involved on campus. Candidacy for membership in Tau Sigma is granted to students who transfer having completed at least one year at a prior institution with a 3.5+ GPA in their first semester or a ranking in the top 20% of all transfer students. The purpose of Tau Sigma is to promote a successful transition to WSU and provide continual dedication to scholarship.

Starting at orientation (either Transfer Registration Days or Transfer Alive!) students will begin to hear more about opportunities for transfers to get involved in campus activities. In addition to the Transfer Social, there will be transfer specific events throughout the Week of Welcome and beginning of the semester! Find out more and stay up to date via the Team Transfer Facebook and Twitter pages.
