If your student has not yet registered for an Alive! Orientation session, please do so as soon as possible. The last two Alive! sessions are session 12, July 27-29 and Fall Alive, August 16-18. Orientation is mandatory for all incoming students and your student will not be able to register for fall classes until they attend orientation. Parent attendance is optional. Make sure your student has taken their Math Placement Exam online before attending Alive!. In addition, students attending session 12 must take the Writing Placement Exam online by Sunday, July 27 (that’s right around the corner!).
If your student is unable to attend Alive! session 12, Fall Alive! is your last chance to attend an orientation program before classes begin on August 25. At Fall Alive!, students will stay in their assigned residence hall, register for classes and receive all of the resources they need to begin their first year at WSU. If you have any questions regarding the Alive! Orientation program, please direct them to email@example.com. Remember, the Alive! matriculation fee can be deferred to your student’s financial aid by printing and mailing in the downloadable Alive! registration form or by contacting New Student Programs at firstname.lastname@example.org or 509-335-4242.
