  • Careers in Animal Sciences

    Learn about the life of an Animal Sciences Major and the careers our majors are prepared for.

  • Behind the Scenes of Apparel, Merchandising, Design & Textiles

    Review of undergraduate program offerings in the Apparel, Merchandising, Design & Textiles. Learn about the many opportunities within the department and career opportunities available to those with an AMT degree. Knowledgeable faculty and students will be available to answer questions.

  • What IS Human Development?

    Visit with Human Development faculty and students to learn about opportunities to study the social, physical and intellectual growth of humans from birth through death. Find out about research opportunities and the careers in which Human Development grads find themselves.

  • Interior Design at WSU

    What is Interior Design? Learn about the profession and the Interior Design program. See student projects and tour the studios.

  • Natural Resource Sciences: Deer Research at WSU

    Take a tour and learn about the deer research being conducted as part of WSU’s Natural Resource Sciences Department.

  • Dollars and Sense: Why You Should Study Economics

    Join one of our world-class professors for an entertaining discussion on how economics is used in everyday life. Karla Makus, academic coordinator, will answer your advising questions.

  • Kimchi, Chocolate and Cheese - the Art and Science of Fermented Foods

    Students will sample a variety of fermented foods and will learn the art, science and history of each.

  • College of Education Overview

    Review of undergraduate program offerings in the College of Education. Students will be informed of application requirements and prerequisites and have the opportunity to meet knowledgeable faculty and staff who will be available to answer questions.

  • To Be or Not To Be - An Architect or Construction Management Student

    Overview of curriculum and requirements; tour of studio and Construction Management rooms; Q & A session.

  • An Introduction to Engineering and Computer Science at WSU

    Includes an overview of degree programs as well as faculty- and student-led tours of laboratory facilities.

  • The Color of Chemistry

    This visit will give students the chance to experience a lively demonstration of chemical reactions in WSU's most famous classroom, the Fulmer "Pit." Michael Finnegan, PhD, teaches many of the Introductory Chemistry courses at WSU.

  • Exploring Careers in Health Care

    Students will explore the paths to a variety of health professions and learn about how the Pre-Health Advising Office can support them from their freshman year through the application process.

  • Lights, Camera, Action! Cable 8 Mock Newscast & Studio Tour

    Go behind-the-scenes and in front of the camera to produce, film, and star in a mock WSU Cable 8 News broadcast.

  • Explore Your Options in Communication

    Learn about majors, career options, and opportunities in the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. Tour the college including radio and TV production facilities and the Daily Evergreen student newspaper.

  • Hospitality Business Management

    Visit with recruiting ambassadors for the school of Hospitality Business Management at WSU. Get a tour of the building of the College of Business and get questions answered about the HBM program.

  • Experience the Liberal Arts!

    If you are interested in the Humanities (English, foreign languages, philosophy, history), the Social Sciences (anthropology, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, political science), the Arts (music and fine arts), speech and hearing sciences, or any of our interdisciplinary programs (asian studies, comparative ethnic studies, women's studies, digital technology and culture), this is the place to be!   • Tour of Kimbrough Hall, Home of the School of Music

    Students will tour the facilities, performance venues, libraries, learning labs and the recording studio in Kimbrough Hall. Enjoy a performance by WSU music faculty and students

  • Do You Have a Sociological Imagination?

    You will have the chance to "test" your sociological imagination by identifying "inconvenient facts" about everyday life. Learn about Sociology and how it adds value to understanding the world around us.

  • What is Your Psychology IQ?

    This session will test your knowledge of common psychological topics in a format similar to "Who Wants to be a Millionarire". Answer questions using hand-held remotes and see how your answers compare to the group!

  • Graphic Design and Web Design: A Glimpse at Digital Technology and Culture

    DTC students will showcase examples of interactive student portfolios and demonstrate some exciting software that Digital Technology and Culture majors use. Design your own logo and you may win a prize!

  • "Serial Killer or Politician" Quiz

    Join students who are majoring in Political Science and/or Criminal Justice and test your knowledge of famous (and infamous) serial killers and politicians.

    Learn about academic and careers opportunities where you can make a difference by promoting stewardship and conservation of our natural resource and ecological systems, including talks on bear and deer research, land management, water issues, and conservation projects.
