During the event, you may choose two workshops from the options below. You will be escorted to the workshops of your choice following lunch.

Alive! @ WSU: Orientation and Registration

This session offers you an insider’s look at WSU’s award-winning orientation and registration program designed to prepare you and your family for the start of classes in the fall. At the two-day Alive! sessions, you can expect to meet with an academic advisor to create your class schedule and register for fall semester classes. Find out what else lies in store for you!

Financial Aid and Scholarship Services

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Services assists students and their families with the financial aid and scholarship application process. This workshop will help you make decisions about how you will be paying for college.

Honors College

Come explore the opportunities and experiences available for Honors students at Washington State University. The Honors College is an academic unit that offers a four-year general education curriculum of interdisciplinary work in the areas of liberal arts, sciences, and the humanities that fulfill all university graduation requirements. These classes provide breadth of knowledge, and develop skills in critical thinking, writing, independent research, presentation, and teamwork.

Nuts and Bolts of Living at WSU

Residence Life and Greek Life invite you to learn more about the different living options available at Washington State University.  Learn what it is like to live on campus, discover the variety of options available, and find out more about the costs. Attend this session and ask lots of questions about living and learning at WSU.

All Things Transfer

Specifically for transfer students. Get your questions answered about your transfer credit report, which orientation program is best for you, living options both on and off campus, how to get connected to campus resources and much more! This highly individualized session will leave you ready to make a smooth transition to Washington State University.
